Maroc Sketchbook
Not always do I paint because I want to. I also paint because it makes me look busy and confident and I quickly learn that not looking busy and confident instantly transforms me into vendor's prey. It's my first time in Morocco and I wish I could be invisible. But everybody is incredibly friendly.
And even though I am hardly allowed to enjoy ten minutes by myself to marvel at my environment, I'm happy for all the conversations and the stories I'm being told. Without them those pages would be just paint and paper.
